In 1541 Hernado de Soto and his men made camp in the wilds near a flowing river in the Land of Legends. In the early 1800's, Land of Legend pioneers slept in one-room cabins and read by candle light. You may think you're still living in olden times when you experience our legendary southern hospitality, but now, you don't have to roll out your saddle bag and sleep on the ground - unless you want to. Land of Legends lodging choices include beautifully restored late 1800's Bed & Breakfast homes, a Convention Center hotel and national lodging chains. If you're an outdoor or RV enthusiast, you can camp at one of our excellent campgrounds or RV parks. You can even rent an RV for up to eight at Cane Creek State Park. Whatever your accommodation of choice, you'll always find the welcome mat on the doorstep when you visit us in the Land of Legends. Click on the town name below to view lodging choices. |
